Fullerton, CA (November 28th, 2020) – As 2020 came to a close, which most would unanimously say “for good”, Fullerton’s favorite performing group, Darden delivered some magic on Christmas Eve with their virtual performance from the Fox Fullerton which premiered on the Fox’s Facebook page.

“Christmas Eve with Darden & Special Guests presented by GigabitNow Fullerton” was actually shot the weekend before with multiple cameras and edited the week prior to Christmas to create a professionally produced almost two hour program. The Darden sisters Clarah, Havi, Tabbi and their brother Josiah performed a one-hour set of their Christmas favorites and were joined also by their grandfather, Joe Tatar and Fullerton Market favorite Christopher “Bubba” Clerc who debuted a new song he wrote just for the show. The show also featured other virtual artists who sent in videos that included; Melissa Jane and her band The Convertibles, Paul Weber and DenManTau, Michael Jost, GBH’s Ross Lomas, Finis Henderson and Orange County favorite, now in Nashville, TN, Phil Shane.

“We thought we’d offer the performance as our sort of Christmas card and thank you to the community before the Fox begins its Phase 2 construction in early 2020,” said Leland Wilson, Fox Fullerton President.

The show and production was completely supported by sponsors GigabitNow Fullerton, DLR Group, Western Allied, Angelo’s and Vinci’s, Jones Environment, The Real Estate Team of Leland and Betty, Talbert Architectural and The Day of Music Fullerton.

The Fox could be closed for its usual special events like Day of Music, etc. until the fall of 2021 which is when this phase of construction will be completed and the Fox will get its certificate of occupancy from the city and be able to operate for the public more regularly.

The video of the performance is still available to see on the Fox’s Facebook page at: https://www.facebook.com/FoxFullerton.
